None of Rare's DK games ever show (or even indicate) Dixie Kong has a tail.

So I'll show her with one! :lmao:

I don't know if Rare has ever given mention in regards to a tail, but Dixie's a monkey just like Diddy is, so it's a reasonable assumption that she has one. Among us hardened DKC fans, it's believed to be tucked under her shirt. Since having both her long hair and tail flowing behind her as she ran around just wouldn't be visually aesthetic. Not to mention it could really suck for Dixie if they both somehow got tangled together...mmyes.

In any case, we lose out, because she has a magnificent tail. =(

I actually had an idea like that once for my 50 Diddy/Dixie pics project where Dixie plays with Diddy's tail. Never got to it, though XD

As for her tail, I figured she never had one since she admitted somewhere.... forgot where exactly, that she was a direct little cousin to Donkey Kong and nobody has tails there.

But truth be told, only Diddy will ever see that tail!

And love it!

Yeah, Dixie looks good with a tail here, but I don't think it would translate into a sprite very well.

I think it'd be hard to make it look good in any game medium, simply because of that long hair.

The tail just wasn't meant to be. x_x

Thanks! Making even only one person happy makes an artwork worth it. =)

I'm glad you like that style. I felt iffy about the background for awhile and revamped it 3 times before calling it good enough. Simplistic bacKgrounds have recently been hard for me to do. XD

LOL! It wasn't Lord Harry. XD It was either the manual or Rare's old website!

Dixie got no love in Lord Harry. She was just a whiny, shorter version of their supersnob Candy.
